Talk to your guidance counselor about AP and Honors level course work.
January
Register for either the SAT or ACT.
February
Begin researching and developing a list of colleges you are interested in.
If interested in Nursing, you may have to register to take the TEAS exam www.atitesting.com
If interested in Architecture, Art, Dance, Theatre or music, start to compile your portfolio.
March
March 14 SAT test date
Start making your college visits over spring break.

April 4 ACT test date
Plan your summer to make the most of it with a great job, work experience, college visits or take a college course.

May 2 SAT Test date and Subject tests
May 11-18 AP Exams
Meet with two teachers to formally request letters of recommendation.
